Oh holy Pete! I just have to say that I am OOOBER excited to be publishing with TLT Publishing. I feel sooooo incredibly lucky that they Tweeted me and then decided to accept my ms.
They are working really hard to make me feel special and important and wanted and needed and...
LOL! I never knew I was a needy writer, and frankly, I don't think I am, but I'm starting to feel a bit spoiled at this point.
The owner of TLT has such a great business plan and her main focus isn't JUST making money, it's about adding something special to the world and treating people fairly; and by people, we're talking about everyone, her editors and illustrators as well as her authors.
It's so neat.
*giggle*
She's keeping us in The Know as to our publishing schedule, and what we all need to accomplish in order to make everything happen. She's helping us with our platform - she's going to build my "fan page", whatever that is. LOL!
And we're in the process of meeting our editors and illustrators. People, Randi and I are talking quite openly about who she's assigning to me and the reason why she chose each person. She's putting so much thought into this; personality, personal likes, genres and all kinds of other things. And she's not just thinking about this book, she's thinking of the entire series. She keeps saying things like, "I want this team to work well, not just for Demons, but for the entire series. We have to think about the entire series. I want this to work. I want you to succeed."
I'm so very, very excited.
I should be getting my editor's letter soon-ish and I need to start thinking about what I want the series to "look" like because my illustrator and I will be talking this weekend to swap ideas. *little girl giggle* To SWAP IDEAS!!! *EEeeeeeekkkkk!!!*
*wild clapping and bouncing in chair*
I'm just tickled, tickled pink. I'm so, sooooo happy with TLT! From promotions, to illustrating, to editing, to keeping me in the process, to...just everything. I really feel like I'm a part of the team, not just a lump who a wrote a book that hopefully does something other than sit on a shelf. EEEKKK!!!
Hi Frankie,
